Hotel Midmost by Majestic Hotel Group

The hotel: It smells incredible (don’t forget to buy a candle to take the scent home!!). The rooftop terrace and pool are an absolute treat and (although the pool was freezing!!) we felt so lucky to spend time up there having a Sangria or a beer, especially at night time when the view was beautiful. The lift was quick and beautifully decorated. Although we didn’t have breakfast in the hotel due to our plans, we arranged to have a bottle of green juice in the room when we arrived (as part of a happy birthday surprise with balloons and cake which the hotel more than delivered on!!) and it was delicious so I would assume the breakfast offerings are as good. The area: Close to a number of transport links (metro and bus) which easily and quickly took us to the tourist-y spots and a nice walk from many good restaurants, breakfast spots, cafès and bars. A couple of supermarkets and pharmacies on the same street and not far from the busy shopping area. As 2 women with children we felt perfectly safe at all times of day. The service: The guys working at Hotel Midmost were great and the room was always cleaned to perfection. The gentleman who covered the rooftop bar was a gem and service so thoughtful and friendly and gave us towels for us to use by the pool. The room: Super comfortable bed with quality bed linen and very comfortable pillows. Everything you could possibly need is provided (plug adapter, toiletries, sewing / cosmetic kit, extra blankets, complimentary bottles of water and tea, kettle, coffee machine, laundry service, mini bar, hairdryer). Great shower pressure (although takes a while to get warm so be patient!) and clean fluffy towels. Very nicely decorated and very clean.

The location is great: close (walkable) to all the most interesting areas and just 5 minutes (probably less) from the place de catalunya, means you can easily get to the tour bus route and airport shuttle. the bed was quiet & comfortable and the shower room is decent size and the smell of the whole hotel was amazing. the reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and has luggage storage service free.

Top location, main tourist objects and a lot of restaurants are available 5-10 minutes by foot. room windows have been facing a quite street in the same time, nothing disturbed sleeping.

The location is great, close to the area of touristic places. The people working there were friendly and very willing to help with everything if needed. The breaksfast was good and with quality products. The coffee excellent! Overall, I think that the price is worth for the location, not for the quality of the hotel.
